Get Your Documents Ready for Orbit Exchange Verification
Four brokers open the exchange, and each one checks who you are at its own moment. Here is when, and with what.
The way into Orbit Exchange is a broker, and the broker checks who you are. AsianConnect asks for verification before any withdrawal. BetInAsia and MadMarket ask once your deposits pass €2,000 or at a withdrawal request. Sportmarket asks before the account is funded, always before a withdrawal and from €3,000 of deposits. All four want a photo ID and a proof of address; BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket add a selfie when they want one. In our own check at all four brokers, that meant sending an ID document and proof of address.
Three moments, four brokers
Say you put €1,500 in over a month, then win on Saturday. On Sunday you ask for the money out, and the broker asks for a passport that is still in a drawer. The bet went fine. The scan that was always going to be needed did not exist yet.
The ID check does not fall in the same place at every broker. There are three moments: before the account is funded, once deposits pass a total, and at a withdrawal. This is where each of the four puts it.
When the check is required
- AsianConnect
- Before any withdrawal
- BetInAsia
- Over €2,000 deposited, or at a withdrawal request
- MadMarket
- Over €2,000 deposited, or at a withdrawal request
- Sportmarket
- Before funding; before any withdrawal; from €3,000

Sportmarket's "before funding" comes from its help page; its withdrawal rule and the €3,000 line come from its terms. Now an example. Put €1,500 in, then €600: the total is €2,100, which is €100 past the BetInAsia and MadMarket line and €900 short of Sportmarket's. At BetInAsia, once the line is crossed, its KYC page says a user who has not passed full KYC cannot make additional deposits or withdrawals of any amount. The table of forms shows the same trigger beside each sign-up.
What to send, document by document
Back to the drawer. This is what each broker wants out of it.
Photo ID
AsianConnect names a valid passport or identity card. BetInAsia, MadMarket and Sportmarket name a passport, a driving licence or a national ID card. MadMarket wants both sides of the document. BetInAsia takes PDF, PNG or JPEG files of 5 MB or less.
Proof of address
AsianConnect, BetInAsia and MadMarket name a bank statement or a utility bill; Sportmarket asks for proof of address. It is dated within 2 months at AsianConnect and within 3 months at the other three. AsianConnect refuses a mobile phone bill, and BetInAsia refuses a phone bill and a screenshot.
A selfie, when it asks
BetInAsia asks for a selfie or a verification call when it wants one. MadMarket asks for a selfie holding the ID. At Sportmarket the identity check can be a selfie or a liveness check. Keep a phone to hand.
A copy of a payment card
AsianConnect's terms list the payment cards you used among the proofs it can ask for, beside the passport or identity card, and reserve the right to ask at any time.
Where the money came from
AsianConnect can ask for the source of funds when one deposit is above €100,000. Sportmarket can ask for the source of funds or of wealth, and for the beneficial owner of a company.
Names have to match
Withdrawals go to an account in your own name at all four brokers. Open the account in the name on your ID, and send a proof of address in that same name.
While it is pending
Then you wait. BetInAsia and MadMarket both give the wait a name: "Temporarily Approved". At BetInAsia it lets you use the platform normally and allows no withdrawal. At MadMarket it blocks withdrawals too. Both brokers' pages put the review at 24 hours. Plan for that wait before the line closes tonight, not after.
If the information does not arrive, the terms take over. BetInAsia's and MadMarket's let them suspend wagering or restrict the account until it does. Sportmarket's lets it suspend or close an account that does not supply what it asked for, and its help page says most verifications are completed within a few minutes.
Is there an account without verification?
Not in the sense the question hopes for. The check is put off, not dropped. MadMarket lets you sign up, open product accounts and transfer before the KYC, and asks for it to withdraw. BetInAsia asks above €2,000 of deposits or at a withdrawal request. AsianConnect's help page gives its reason in one line: "Asianconnect requires KYC to confirm your account for security, prevent fraud, and comply with licensing requirements." At Sportmarket, crypto deposits open only after full verification.
Each of the four requires the check before a withdrawal.
Imagine a bettor every bookmaker has capped, with a month's winnings to move the evening a line looks right. The balance is in place and the exchange is open. The one thing that can stall the withdrawal is a scan nobody sent. What caps a stake is a separate question, with its own page.
Get the paperwork in order before you fund anything
Pick the proof of address
A proof of address under two months old is inside the age limit at all four brokers. Choose the document now, while nobody is waiting for it.
Match the names
Put the ID, the proof of address, the account and the payment method side by side. If one spells your name differently, fix it now.
Find the KYC entry
AsianConnect's account area has a KYC Verification tile, and BetInAsia's menu has a KYCs entry. Know where each one sits before you need it.
Send them before the trigger, not after it
I would send them the day I open the account, before the first deposit, not the day I ask for the money out. What moving the money costs at each broker has its own page.
Send early, or when asked?
Send early
Getting verified before the broker's line is reached.
- At BetInAsia and MadMarket, both the €2,000 line and the first withdrawal request find them sent.
- At Sportmarket the check comes before funding, so early is the default.
Best for: you plan to withdraw within weeks, you expect to pass €2,000 at BetInAsia or MadMarket, or you use Sportmarket.
Not ideal if: you are still choosing between brokers, since the documents go to a broker you will not necessarily keep.
Send when asked
You wait for the broker's own trigger.
- MadMarket lets you sign up, open product accounts and transfer first.
- AsianConnect's help page ties the check to the withdrawal.
Best for: a small first deposit while you read the broker's screens.
Not ideal if: you will deposit past the broker's line, or want to withdraw the day you win.
No general winner: the choice turns on how soon you expect to withdraw and how far you expect to deposit. Still choosing a broker? How the four brokers compare goes past the paperwork, the route tool picks by the places you want an account to open, the broker comparison gives the wider view, and the broker model shows what one account is made of.
Questions that come after the upload
Why is the broker asking me?
The terms of BetInAsia and MadMarket tie the check to the applicable gaming regulation and to anti-money-laundering requirements. Sportmarket calls it part of its Know Your Customer procedures, and AsianConnect gives its own reason in the line quoted above.
What happens in the check?
You send the documents the broker asks for, and it reviews them. The list is in the cards above and the wait is under “While it is pending”. The review comes ahead of a withdrawal at each of the four.
Does one verification cover every product?
At AsianConnect, yes: a single check covers every product on the account. MadMarket puts it as "One KYC fits them all."
What if my ID expires or I move?
Sportmarket's terms ask for the verification to be renewed on request when the ID has expired or the address has changed.
Who does the check?
Your broker, in the terms and help pages described above. Orbit's own messages about funds, an exposure limit and a suspended account send you to "your agent". The routes into Orbit Exchange lay out the broker route. What the exchange is introduces the exchange, and a straight read of the exchange goes further.
Do crypto deposits skip it?
Not at Sportmarket, where crypto deposits open only after full verification. The crypto rail in detail has the rest.
One more thing before the first deposit: set your limits. Responsible gambling is the page for it.
