Privacy policy
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. The calculators run in your browser and send nothing. Our server keeps ordinary logs for security and to see which pages are read, and we read your e-mail address only if you write to us.
What we collect
Server logs. When you load a page, the server records the IP address the request came from, the page requested, the time, the response status, the page that linked to it if your browser sends one, and your browser's user agent. We use them to keep the site running, to spot abuse and to see which pages are read. Logs are rotated every day and the archives are deleted after about two weeks.
E-mail. If you write to [email protected], we use your address and message to reply. We keep it for as long as we need it to answer you and deal with any follow-up. You can ask us to delete it.
Calculators and tools. They run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.
What we do not do
We do not set cookies, do not run advertising or analytics scripts, and do not build profiles of visitors. The notice about cookies remembers that you closed it in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site, so loading a page does not send your address to a font or script host.
Why we use this data
Logs let us keep the site secure and working and show which pages are read, which is our legitimate interest. Your e-mail is used to answer the message you sent. We do not sell data and we do not share it for marketing.
Who else sees traffic
The site sits behind Cloudflare, a content delivery network that proxies requests, so it sees visitor addresses as part of delivering pages. It may process them in other countries than your own. If it challenges a visitor it takes for a bot, it may set its own security cookie. When you follow a link to a broker, the broker sees that you came from this site, and its own privacy policy applies from then on.
Children
ORB Access is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to us and we will answer.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version on this page is the one that applies.
